Colin Grant (24738085) formally of the
1st Battalion Grenadier Guards between 1985-1990, who recalls the
gruelling runs over the "Sister's" and the "Sand Hill" at Pirbright,
along with service in Munster, Germany (BFPO-17).
Is seeking information on a number of past comrades: L/Sgt: Aston, Paulson,
"Basher" Bates, L/Cpl: O'Reagan, as well as Sgt: Bowker (Irish Guards) and
Platoon Commander Lt: Krazinski, and asks can any one help?
Alex Daintree-Blackshaw formally of the
Royal Artillery, is seeking any information relating to his Great Uncle: Lance
Corporal, Harry Goodman (2613175). Harry served with 2nd Battalion and was
lost on 20th April 1945 in North West Europe, and lies at rest in Becklingen War
Cemetery, Soltau, Germany. Harry's family was from Salford,
Lancashire, and any one with memories or knowledge of Harry's service in the Grenadiers and
war time action would be greatly received, can anybody help?
Guardsman, Neil Allen (24775866)
who joined up in 1986 and after Pirbright, landed
Guardsman, Ronald Purssord (22755862) who served with the 2nd Battalion, Wellington Barracks during 1952, and the 13th Company, Chelsea Barracks during 1954. He also recalls spending time in Egypt prior to his demob in Stansted, and would be pleased to make contact with anybody remembering him. Request for Information posted 04.10.2007

Andrew Nobbs the youngest son of Sergeant George Edward Nobbs (22955829) who served with the 1st Battalion during 1954/57 and then the 2nd Battalion, would be pleased to hear from anyone remembering his father and/or his service, which would help contribute to a scrapbook he is compiling.
